But this week while at co-op school one of the moms was telling me how much her daughter loved dinosaurs and how hard it was to find dinosaur stuff that was girly.
This got me to thinking and looking at my current dinosaur designs....

So this post is dedicated to all those little girls that love dinosaurs to! I went back to the drawing board and tried to alter my design to make it more "girly". Now in my shop I am happy to have added Dinosaur Birthday items for the girls that want to be girly but still have a dinosaur party.

I loved how the Girl Dinosaur Birthday Party Invitation turned out! I knew I wanted to stick with my original layout but there is just something about the pink and purple that really make it pop to me. And of course I had to make a matching Dinosaur Milestone Board. This is a simple item but that makes a big impact. I love having one of these displayed at a party so that guests can see some info on the birthday boy or girl. It makes a great photo prop and I always include an 8x10 size so that parents can include it in a scrapbook or photo album. I like going back and looking at these of my daughters from over the years and remember what her favorites were at that point in her life. The categories on the milestone board can be changed also based on the age of the child.
And party favor tags because all young party guests love goodie bags!

Now that we have all that out of the way of course I had to visit Pinterest looking for some cute ideas for girl dinosaur birthday party games and decorations.
And this is a fun project that the birthday girl can help with beforehand. Just grab out some pink and purple paint and you know have cute dinosaurs to set around the party for decorations.
If you painted small dinosaurs they could also be used as cake topper decorations.
I love this idea because a little bit of paint and BAM your boyish dinosaurs just became girly! Add a Barbie skirt to one or a little lace and that gives it even a little more.
Weather permitting this is also a great theme for activities outside. Take some extra dino toys, and some sand and you have a dinosaur dig. This may be a little messy but that just means the kids will love it more!
Maybe hide dinosaurs around and let the kids go on a dinosaur scavenger hunt. Or if your little likes nerf guns as much as mine does maybe set some dinosaurs up and let the kids shoot at them with nerf guns.
