Farmhouse Tier Tray Decor

Let's talk farmhouse tier trays. I have jumped on the bandwagon and have this totally pointless thing taking up room on my kitchen counter.....and I love it!

Another trend I love is stacked, stamped books.

For Christmas I wanted to combine these two looks. But my tiered tray was to small to set an actual book on.

I typically don't have a lot of time to craft so I am a big fan of using what I have on hand when I do get that spare moment to craft.

Between the house and the camper we have about 4 Jenga games. One was not in that good of shape but small wooden blocks... I think I can make this work. I had seen where people had used Jenga pieces for ornaments so this shouldn't be any different.

I sanded several Jenga pieces to remove the logo and then painted the pieces.

Now to apply your wording you can use a sharpie, paint or vinyl. I choose matte sticker vinyl.

After that I used Mod Podge to seal the vinyl and tied some ribbon around my blocks.

I also used the Jenga pieces for a picture holder. I hot glued them together and added a small clip so that it would hold a picture.

Overall this was a cheap, quick and easy craft. So many options you could use the Jenga pieces for!

Since they turned out so good I had to make another shelf sitter stack to add to my last years DIY Christmas tree.
