Dollar Tree Home Decor Craft

I love a good, DIY project. Sometimes those DIY projects end up costing more than if you had just gone to Hobby Lobby and bought something similar..... but what's the fun in that?!

This is NOT one of those projects. Total cost $5.00 plus tax.

Dollar Tree Items used:
- The octogen dry erase board can be found in the craft section.
- Two clip plants found with the succulents in the plant section
- Black wall plant holder also found in the floral section
- Super Glue

Other Items used that are optional:
- Stain (or paint) - you can leave the wood border natural color like it comes but I choose to stain mine
- Paper backing - I wanted the white background to not be solid white. You could use scrapbook paper, but I choose to just print out a simple design
- Mod Podge

Step 1: prep your frame - stain or paint if desired

Step 2: Cut your paper to fit, then Mod Podge your paper to the board and let it dry

Step 3: Attach the wall plant hanger to the board using super glue (I waited 24 hours for the glue to dry).

Step 4: Put your two floral pieces in, hang it on the wall and you are done! Easy peasy!

I decided that I wanted to make two of these to give some character and depth to this wall in our Master Bathroom.

After making these of course Maddie and I spotted other places these would look cute.... so we may have to make another trip to the Dollar Tree for more supplies.

If you decide to make one please share a picture with us! We would love to see what you come with up!
