Vintage Christmas Shirt

As you already know I love a good DIY. Today's project is an easy to make Christmas shirt. Because who doesn't love a cute a Christmas shirt?!

You don't need anything fancy for this project. A computer, Avery shirt transfer paper, an inkjet printer, scissors, and iron and you are set.

I took this a step further though and wanted to try testing out Avery transfer paper with my Silhouette Cameo. This was my first time trying out the print and cut feature and I love how it came out!

First print out your design - I purchased this super cute vintage girl and reindeer from a fellow Etsy seller (Click Here). Note - you do not have to have a fancy printer for this project. Mine is a Canon MG2100 that was a $30 Walmart special about 5 years ago. It does not have the best print quality but I'm happy with it.

Step 2: Cut your design out. You can cut around your design with scissors or use a vinyl cutting machine. I used my Silhouette Cameo with the cut settings of: Depth 2, Force 15, Speed 10.
(Check Out Silhouette Cameo Fun Inspiration on YouTube for a good tutorial on Print and Cut)

Step 3: Place your design Face Down on your shirt and iron on your design and let it cool. For my experiment I wanted to use my heat press. I set the temperature to 320 and pressed the design for 20 seconds. Allow It It To COOL Before Pealing Off The Paper.

That's it! Simple. Easy. Fun!
