Elf On The Shelf - Cornhole Reindeer Games

Let's take a moment and talk about Elf on The Shelf. It seems people either love it or they hate it.... In our house we love it! Now we are a house of believers and of Christmas magic and even the hubby likes to get involved with the Elf magic.

This year I knew I needed to take it up a notch and when I found these cute boards at Walmart I knew just what they could be used for.

Supply List
  • Coin Toss Boards
  • Hair Dryer (to remove stickers)
  • Paint
  • Vinyl (if wanted)

I started off by using my hair dryer to loosen the glue and peal the stickers off of the boards.

This is not something you have to do, but I had something particular in mind for these boards. They were going to be used for Reindeer games.

After I removed the stickers I took some white spray paint I had on hand and gave them a good spray all over.

I then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my Reindeer games files. Now here is where I would make a change if doing this project over. I was out of Red sticker vinyl but I had Red heat transfer vinyl. So I thought why not. I cut the HTV and used my mini press to attach the vinyl to the boards. As you can see I had the heat to high on one of the them and the paint crinkled..... oh well......

Maddie's Elf On The Shelf, Bubbles, always travels to us with Rudolph and Clarice and the two reindeer always get in on the Elf shenanigans. So for this Rudolph and Clarice played while Bubbles the Elf watched on. They used chocolate chips and marshmallows for their game pieces.

This was so cute and Maddie absolutely love it!!
